Long leaves of grass found in our BioCube, which was located in a vernal swamp. Had to clean off the mud that was surrounding it before.

Some tree roots found in the vernal pool. Sort of looks like detritus.

A furry black spider around the size of a fingertip.

A small, brown slug that was found attached onto someone's jacket.

Lots of green moss with a lot of buds from another flower popping up.

A furry, black spider that was found on the top of the hay. Smaller than a fingertip.

A brown stem with pale-ish thorns sticking out of it. Hurts to touch.

A lot of green moss growing on the ground with red flowers spread across the moss.

A small spider that ran on top of the hay. The size was about 1/6 of a fingertip.

Dried up stem gall on the tip of the stem. Has lots of holes within the sphere.

A tan colored bundle of thinly layered brittle material layered into a ball. Not sure if its a plant or made from an animal.

A dark blueish/purple fungus shaped like a flower. Contains a green core.

Brown flowers and brown/gray leaves attached onto a brownish-gray stem. Could be because the plant is wilting

Brown pinecones that are about halfway to fully opening. Attached onto a brown stem

Reddish-orange berry-shaped buds attached onto a red stem. On top of these buds is a grayish bundle of small tips.

Whitish-brown leaves that are wilting and attached to a grayish-brown stem. Each batch of leaves looks like its been crumpled into a ball.
