I have a degree in Biology from Sacramento State University where I took classes in many different fields including herpetology, ornithology, entomology, and ethology. I took a variety of field botany courses. I've been birding for over 20 years. I am a certified California Naturalist after completing the program in the Fall of 2019 at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center.
