I like both animals and plants. I used to only be interested in animals, but an introductory botany course at FIU bolstered a love of plants in me. Now, I'm learning more about both native and invasive plants. I like learning how to forage, and I'm learning what's edible and what's not.

I'm a creative writer, and I'd like to draw more inspiration from my environment, like Carl Hiaasen. I really admire his work and how he incorporates the landscape into his stories.

I do not have any expertise in plant identification. If I add a suggestion to your observation, it is solely based off of my experiences. I will not add suggestions regarding things I do not know.

I'm new to this wonderful world of nature, so please educate me about flora and fauna if you feel so inclined! Thank you!!!
