Since early childhood I was fascinated by nature. Later I started photographing and determining plants and animals. Special interest developed in austrian wildflowers, bog plants, terrestrial orchids, aquatic macrophytes and the genus Rosa in europe. Many excursions to Greece and the Balcans, the Baleares and Italy. Among animals molluscs and Cynipidae are in special focus. Another field of interest are invasive neobiota.
