I am an arachnologist and taxonomist whose main interests are the distribution and taxonomy of spiders of Iran. I have received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biology at University of Tehran, and currently, I'm a Ph.D. candidate at the Biodiversity Unit of University of Turku. So far, I have discovered/described over 100 new species of spiders, amblypygids and pseudoscorpions from different Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries.
