Qualified Conservation Biologist (BSc Zoology, MRes) . Areas of focus include ecology, ornithology, entomology, botany, fire behaviour, and of course, conservation. Forays into animal welfare from the perspective of captive animal management, biomechanics, and geochemistry.

Some favorite animals include any and all birds, dinosaurs, prehistoric ungulates and megafauna, reptiles of all kinds, marsupials, cetaceans and sharks, and invertebrates.

When I’m not doing science, I’m either drawing, outdoors, or fighting fires.
