I’ve been a nature lover since childhood. I now have my own California native habitat garden, which brings me great joy daily. iNaturalist has literally changed my life! I have discovered the wonderful world of native bees! Now I try to hike various trails in San Diego County multiple times per week in search of whatever bee species I can find. I particularly like Fairy Bees (Perdita), but all native species are beautiful and endlessly fascinating.
