My observations are primarily the Alex McKenzie Memorial Arboretum, south of Otautau. Many of the trees there were planted by the NZ Forest Service in the 1950s however not all of the ID markers have survived. Do you know your exotic conifers and hardwoods? If so, I could use your help!
