I'm currently a USFS botanist on the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, and was previously on the Shasta-Trinity NF. PhD from Syracuse University with a dissertation on the interactions of mycorrhizal fungi with both native and invasive plants. Formerly a botanist working with the Missouri Department of Conservation. Originally just a kid from Tennessee who enjoyed nature and lucked out by having some really great botany teachers along the way.
