I am a former Biology teacher.

I enjoy photographing invertebrates, particularly insects and am always looking out for specimens to photograph and identify.

My main area of interest is stream ecology and my favourite insects are Mayflies. I am currently rearing to adults every species I find. Eventually, I hope to set up a blog site with all my photos.

I am keen to add to the current records of the diversity and distribution of invertebrates in Auckland and Waikato streams. I am also intending to photograph any fish I collect when I am sampling streams in these regions.
