Just a Citizen Scientist when using iNaturalist. I am particularly fond of taking photos of organisms that are completely new to me. Many thanks to the broader iNat community for teaching me how to properly put scientific names to my photos.

My professional background: Research biologist with broad expertise in mapping and monitoring marine biodiversity (e.g. MSc, PhD, and postdocs in marine ecology).
