I am originally from South Carolina, where my days spent playing in the forest, swamps, and sand fields led me to a lifetime passion for reptiles, amphibians, and other native wildlife. I lived in WV for a short time before moving to PA in 2005. In 2008 I created http://paherps.com since there was a lack of online information for reptiles and amphibians in PA. I also helped for a short time on the 3rd PA herp atlas, before creating the PAHERP database which became PARS in 2013.
I have a fascination with pawpaws, native wildflowers, and isopods.
