I am the Pollinator Ecologist at the Illinois Natural History Survey's Population and Community Ecology Lab (https://pace.inhs.illinois.edu/). At the Survey, I am working to understand more about the current distribution and ecology of the pollinators of Illinois, with an emphasis on the Rusty-patched Bumblebee.

I graduated from Berea College with a BA in Biology in 2018 and from Eastern Kentucky University with a MS in Biological Sciences in 2022. At EKU, I studied the bumblebee diversity of eastern Kentucky and used plant-pollinator networks, constructed from pollen-load DNA, to examine the comprehensive dietary niche of bumblebee communities in sites that have undergone a gradient of restoration interventions to determine if restorative measures lend to high quality habitat for bumblebee communities.
