I grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts and studied Environmental Studies and Biology at Oberlin College in Ohio. After a few seasons on the east coast, and one in Wyoming, I landed in Santa Fe, New Mexico as a seed collection intern. I spent two seasons collecting seed throughout New Mexico, and now I'm working for the Institute for Applied Ecology as a Plant Conservation Specialist in a support role at the New Mexico BLM. I love expanding my botanical knowledge, contributing to conservation and restoration, and nerding out about endemic plants and local adaptation. I'll be going to the University of Nevada Reno in the fall for a MS in Biology and I'm looking forward to learning more about the flora and ecology of the Great Basin.
