I retired as a USGS hydrologist in 2016 after a 27-year career in Georgia and the southeastern US. Since Covid prevented many other activities in early 2020, I rekindled an old fascination for botany by taking, identifying, and archiving botanical photographs. iNaturalist has provided a community of experts to assist me in this pursuit, for which I am grateful!
