I'm a birder at heart, but that's what eBird's for, so iNat ends up being where I post everything else I'm into.
I am fascinated by the diversification of Batrachoseps/slender salamanders, as well as all other plethodontids.
I study biology in CCS at UC Santa Barbara with an emphasis in evolutionary biology. I'm interested in molecular phylogenetics, genomics, molecular evolution and other related fields. Going on to get my phd is my current goal, and I'm particularly interested in doing phylogeographic work with thamnophilids, furnariids, flycatchers, plethodontid salamanders, or intertidal fish.
