I'm a scientist in cancer and pharmacology research, but I take any chance I get to leave the lab bench and get into the field to photograph and learn about all the nature around us. My eyes are usually keyed in on birds and herps, but all of nature fascinates me, and I can't help but noticing and trying to ID every insect, shrub, and lichen I come across.
