Hi there! I'm a consultant biologist living in Ventura County specializing in wildlife and plant surveys (though I am forever learning!).

I'm a graduate of Humboldt State University with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology as well as the Exotic Animal Training and Management from Moorpark College’s “EATM” program. I have professional experience in field work all throughout California, as well as zookeeping, habitat restoration, wildlife camera trapping, public education and outreach, skeleton articulation and bone cleaning, and backpacking and survival skills. I'm especially interested in American black bears having spent a summer in Yosemite National Park working with the Bear Management Team, and I worked for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife assisting with a black bear genetics study in the Angeles National Forest. I love the incredible diversity of California’s flora and fauna and have a particular passion for urban ecology and human/ wildlife conflict resolution.
