I am a forest research technician in Nova Scotia and consider myself a novice naturalist. My experience is primarily with trees and forest ecosystems, including diseases and invasive forest pests. I have relatively recently added many native wildflowers to my mental database. I am also building.a strong background in forest songbird identification by ear. I hope to grow my limited skills for moths, dragonflies, beetles, fungi, and lichens. I have much to learn and having a great community of researchers to support and assist is an incredible asset.
