I am a nature lover who enjoys hiking and exploring new places in natural surroundings. My quest for learning about plants, and especially wildflowers in Southern California, has led me to utilize INaturalist and discover its many facets of education. In addition, I now explore the forests of the Northwest, which challenge me to broaden my knowledge of plants, lichen, mosses and fungi —a whole different world! Nature is my teacher, my companion, my friend.
