I'm a retired librarian and refugee from coastal New Jersey. My husband and I moved to Eastern Shore VA a year and a half ago. Our 2.5 acres, nearly surrounded by corn / soybean fields, keep us busy. Last fall I took the Master Naturalists course held locally. Excellent teachers, course materials and field trips. Now I'm hooked on being a better observer and volunteering in the various natural area preserves.
