I am a retired USDA-ARS Research plant pathologist who studied diseases of cultivated sunflower and wild Helianthus species for 35 years, based in Fargo ND. Currently residing in northern CA where I and my wife are learning an entirely new flora (and mycoflora). Am interested in wildflowers, mushrooms and , of course, plant diseases.
