I am a lifelong lover of nature and the great outdoors. I am an amateur photographer. Love to hike. Love to camp. Love those 4WD roads in the middle of nowhere.

For the past 20 years I have spent much time in the Big Bend region of Texas. This place is pure magic and my favorite place to be. I have also been lucky enough to spend a good amount of time wondering the southwest from Colorado west through Utah and down through Nevada, California back through Arizona and New Mexico.

Thank you to all who help my id’s. Many of my postings are from older photos. iNaturalist is teaching me to be more conscious when taking pics for identification purposes. Especially with plants and fungi. I very much welcome your comments, suggestions and any questions.
