Collected from Cyathea milnei in 'wet' forest (dominated by Kermadec pohutukawa (Metrosideros kermadecensis) and Acarina lucida var. lanceolata). Rhizomatous fern with pendulous dark green fronds, very sparingly fertile. Images from voucher lodged in AK. This fern is also known in New Zealand as Trichomanes caudatum
