Description

Some pics to show some of the differences between this species and the tag named entity Spiranthes "Motutangi". The latter is more densely hairy, the lateral sepals tend to flare widely when flowering and it has a folded in "slipper" labellum, amongst other differences. The labellum in S. novae-zelandiae is open at the end, is much more frilly and often extends well beyond the sepals. The tag named entity is in the process of being formally described.
