How humans, elk coexist in Point Reyes’ ‘conflicted landscape’.

Given that humans nearly caused tule elk to go the way of the grizzly bear in California, it’s no surprise that the Point Reyes National Seashore’s recent proposal to kill some elk to reduce conflicts with ranches in the park has raised eyebrows.
