The school BioBlitz day at Zealandia is easily topping the public day

I just posted this over on the main BioBlitz page and thought it was worth repeating here.

While there are still a lot of observations to process from the big BioBlitz GO! event, one thing is clear: Wellington schools are awesome! The Sunday public BioBlitz day currently has resulted in 175 observations of 97 species. That result got left in the dust by the Monday schools BioBlitz day, which has so far produced a whopping 741 observations of 155 species!

Well done and a huge thanks to all of the kids and teachers who put in such a great effort.
