Mountain lion’s death on 15 Freeway near Temecula raises serious questions.

Not exactly user friendly for wildlife.

That matters because a young male mountain lion was killed near here recently on the 15. At least three have been killed in the area in the past 20 months.

New Washington State Wildlife Corridor is Already Saving Lives.

Construction isn’t even finished yet on a wildlife corridor that crosses over busy Interstate 90 in Washington state, but animals are already taking advantage of this safe way to roam.

Ventura County Urged to Adopt Ordinance Protecting Wildlife Connectivity.

The ordinance heightens protections for areas designated as important wildlife corridors and requires environmental review for developments that might degrade those areas. Wildlife corridors help mountain lions, California red-legged frogs and other animals maintain crucial genetic diversity and avoid being killed by cars.
