Canterbury braided river birds

Braided river birds are amongst the most endangered species in New Zealand. They often nest in remote sections of braided rivers, and not always in the same place each year.

The aim of this project is to record sightings of birds in braided rivers so that BRaid, in conjunction with DOC, ECan, and other project partners, can implement seasonal management strategies to help reverse their dramatic decline. See http://braid.org.nz/conservation/brpp/ for more details.
