We are in our last week of new assignments and class work. This project will be open through the end of the school year (June 12th). I encourage you to continue to get outside and see what you can find and identify. You guys have been working hard and I so greatly appreciate that. Keep up the good work and see how many more different species we can identify.
During breaks in the rain today and this week, try to get outside and see what you can find. Some organisms prefer the moisture, cooler temperatures, and rain.
Hope everyone is well. This project is to get us outside and start looking at the biotic components right around us. Do your best to identify and capture footage of as many different species as possible. If you cannot identify it, that is find. This app will allow others to look at our photos and help with identification. It will also give you a chance to share with your classmates. I am looking forward to your observations and to see how many species we can identify in Northeast North Carolina.
