This is project is to collect potential new country/state/provincial or other notable records of aquatic insects in North America. The focus is on aquatic Heteroptera (Hemiptera) and Coleoptera, but other verifiable observations will be considered.

Inclusion of observations does not verify that observations are new records, but rather they may be new records that require further investigation. This is not necessarily documenting range extensions (though these observations can be included), but rather filling gaps in published records.
