A New Year, A New Map?

Hi everyone!

I hope you have been enjoying these cooler months. We have been hard at work sorting through observations, vetting records, and creating new maps.

Permit Requests: If you would like off trail access at any locations to survey for dragonflies and damselflies, please let me know. I will be working on the permit for the State Nature Preserves in a few weeks, so if you have one in particular that you think is promising, please shoot me an email. These permits will cover off trail access and permission to collect specimens ( or wings/spider killed/road killed dragons )

NEW MAPS! Jim Lemon did his magic again and created all new maps showing the new county records. These new maps and flight distributions are now live on the Ohio Dragonfly Survey webpage.

Odo-Con Speakers and guides wanted!

  • Mark your calendars for May 31st-June 2nd.
  • The conference will be in Rio Grande, Ohio this year (Southern Ohio, Gallia County). If you are willing to be a field guide or speaker, please let us know. Topics related to aquatic ecosystems are welcome. Once we have a more confirmed speakers, we will make the registration live.
