Volunteer meeting
Hi all,
Tiffany suggested we'll have another volunteer meeting, so that she could meet everyone. We've got a few items on a tentative agenda:
- Meeting Tiffany, and learning about the Center for Biological Diversity interest in our project
- Updates about the Midpen population study, and Midpen's 1/13 board meeting
- Additional newt studies we might need/ want to do
- Working in pairs
- A possible volunteer outing

After this Thursday (the day I give my last final exam), I am free any day/any time.
i'm free any weekday after 4pm.
Mon-Wed are not good for me. Any other day/time is fine.
Other suggested topics:
How do we get photos from Midpen study into iNat?
Will they share their traffic data with us? Is it too tedious to collect traffic/activity data (cars, trucks, bicyclists, pedestrians)? I'm not sure we're using that data, so if it's tedious to collect, we might want to discontinue it.
Regarding volunteer get together: I'd love to see you all, but I'm at high risk for Covid-19 (85% chance of dying if I catch it), so I'm staying away from people for now.

I can do any day/time for the next 2 weeks.. after that it will be limited to evenings during the weekdays.
Hi Tiffany! Welcome to the patrol.
I'm a bit iffy by day until I hopefully make it through this week not getting called for jury duty. Evenings work much better in general for me anyway.
@joescience1, I think there are two separate proposals: first to have a virtual meeting, and then during that meeting discuss a possible physical outing.

And yes, we're thinking a virtual meeting over zoom first, and then we can take it from there.

Not to get too excited, but it looks like there is a chance of rain this weekend, so I'm hopeful for that.
