Race to 1000's Journal

Hey everyone!!
First off, I am really sorry about my long absence. This was a bad time to schedule the BioBlitz, as my family moved. I thought, "I can make observations in CT and in IN, and everywhere in between." I forgot, however, that internet takes a while to install! I am using a computer at my local library, but I currently have no way to add my 500+ observations, so I am extending the deadline by nine days to make it an even 30-day event. This will hopefully give us time to meet 1000 species, and I will likely be able to add my observations before the BioBlitz ends.

And it's over! This has sure been fun, right? And we beat our goal with 1,086 species (as of now). This number may change later as more of our observations are identified, so would everyone please take a moment to identify a few observations? We should do something like this more often, right? Right now I have a vague idea of a mid-summer BioBlitz that is not invite-only. I appreciate everyone's cooperation and help! An especial shoutout goes to @ken-potter and @caterpillar511, who came in 1st and 2nd for number of observations, and to @ken-potter and @nflicker101, who came in 1st and 2nd for number of species.
