Redpolling Bioblitz 2020's Journal

Thanks to Steven Kurniawidjaja we now have a number of awards we'll be giving out for everything from best dragonfly photo to funniest observation. See all the awards in the document here:

I am surprised and amazed to announce that Code 5 Design has offered to sponsor this bioblitz by offering 3 of their naturalist t-shirts as prizes! The awards which will receive the t shirts are still being decided in the Redpolling Facebook group but pending an unexpected upset they will be:

1. In The Name of Science - Most scientifically interesting observation
2. Gerald R. Muskrat Commemorative Trophy - Most humorous observation
3. Listing Central - Most species observed (potential to be changed to observations)

Hey all!
In the interest of helping the managers out with narrowing down candidates for the awards, please feel free to "Favorite" any observations you have that you are particularly proud of, and feel should get some more attention. The "favorite" function is marked by a star symbol on both the app and the website.

Additionally, you can sort the observations you're viewing in the project by the number of favorites they have if you're bored and just feel like going through everyone's best pictures/recordings.

Just a reminder that you have until Wednesday to upload and ID any observations from this weekend, at which point we'll be announcing winners for most species, and polling the funniest and most scientifically significant awards in the Redpolling Facebook group to decide who wins the t-shirts provided by Code 5.
