Ready to start taking data!

Dear BI 100L students,

Wednesday's sections will go to Paseo Park to record their observations. We are still settling the schedule for other days.

Make sure your phones are able to record geolocation (turn location services "on" if you don't see geocoordinates), and remember to take a photo of each tree you record.

TAs will have baggies with thumbtacks and flagging tape to mark trees, and a meter stick for each team.

If you have questions or problems with the app, email me - I'll try to solve them as quickly as possible.

Happy surveying!

-Curt

Dear Bi 100L students,

In editing your CRB Coconut tree data, I note that many of you have not entered a correct ID for your observations. It would be nice if all of you can go to your observations and in the ID tab type "coco" or "Cocos nucifera" - you'll see two pop ups. Choose the one that says "Coconut Palm" and "Cocos nucifera" below. Hit save, then go your next observation.

I'm also noticing duplicate observations by the same person and two persons. I can tell, b/c the picture of the tree is the same. Please delete duplicate observations.
