Runge Nature Center BioBlitz June 21 & 22, 2019

All amateur (including children and families) and professional naturalists are invited to attend out first ever Runge BioBlitz on June 21 & 22. Let's see how many different species of plants, animals, and fungi we can find at the Runge Conservation Nature Center in 24 hours. There will be many expert-led, educational, interactive excursion to explore the life that calls Runge home, and help give you deeper connection with Missouri's fish, forest, and wildlife. There will also be prizes, a raffle, a photography competition, and free hot dogs. No registration required. Pollinator iNat Challenge

Explore flowers and pollinating insects during this months Runge iNaturalist Challenge. Make five pollinator or flowering plant observations using the iNaturalist app, then add those observations to the "Runge Biodiversity Project" before uploading. Once you have made your five observations stop at the front desk, share your observations with our Runge staff, and recieve a free Peterson's First Field Guide and a miniature butterfly net.
