Vote for the March Observation of the Month

Here are the candidates for the March observation contest selected by Kyle Jones. Take a look (or listen!) to each one and vote by replying to this post with the number of the observation you like best. It was hard to stay away from birds this month, but spring ephemeral wildflowers are on their way!

March Photo-Observation of the Month

It seems that Vermont iNaturalists are behaving like the weather. They just can't let go of winter. The March winner was an amazing shot of a Snowy Owl at the goose viewing area at Dead Creek WMA by Sue Wetmore. Check out this amazing photograph at http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/566277. This year will truly go down as Snowy Owl storm. Congratulations to all of the other finalists. All six selections got at least one vote, a testimonial to the talent of all of you! April is going to be a very competitive month. The weather is breaking and life is flourishing across the Green Mountain State. We look forward to more great observations from all of you.
