The Ark in the Park is an open sanctuary at the Cascade Kauri in the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, close to Auckland City. This Forest & Bird community volunteer project started in 2002. Ark in the Park is a partnership between Forest and Bird and the Auckland Council, with support from Te Kawerau a Maki, our local Iwi.
