Range Countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Peru.

Wide range across South America. Known to occur in southern-eastern and northern Brazil, central Bolivia and northern Peru, and may also exist in Costa Rica, Colombia and Argentina.

Description 3

Epiphytic.

Habitat type 3

Occurs along the base of mountainous areas. Found in a range of habitats, mainly submontane rainforest and marshy, seasonally flooded forest, between the coast and mountainous areas. The ecoregions in which most specimens were found, in southeastern Brazil, are the Araucaria moist forests, the Serra do Mar coastal forests and the Alto Parana Atlantic forests. Apart from forested habitats, it may also exist in savanna/grassland habitats such as cerrado, and scrubland.
