The Philippine Trogon (Harpactes ardens) is a species of bird in the Trogonidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
It builds its nest in a hole in a dead tree 6 meters up. Its clutch size is 3 eggs.
