First Day of Observations!

Created 2023-06-30

I was having a rough day today because of a lot of bad news, and went to the park to try and clear my head. I found some birds and a squirrel and thought to take a picture of them to share with my friends because of how cute they are! Then, I remembered my friend talking a lot about iNaturalist and I decided to make an account when I got home, and upload the critters I saw.

I've already seen a lot more diversity in plant species than I thought, thinking there would only be grass and maybe a few species of bushes and trees. I was wrong! My head is very much cleared, and I have already learned much more about local Philly fauna and flora than I ever imagined I could learn. There's so much more biodiversity in this city than I imagined there being (because it's a city), and I cannot wait to learn more.
