Two ant-eating spiders (Euryopis californica) feeding on a colony of black harvester ant (Veromessor pergandei). The spiders positioned themselves at the entrance to the colony, carrying away live ants trapped in silk. Observed at Ocotillo Patch in Joshua Tree National Park, near the transition zone between the Mojave and Colorado deserts.
