Description

The bird on the left is a juvenile showing a streaked breast and a yellow gape. The bird on the right is a molting adult. We watched the juvenile beg and get fed several times.

Description

This was similar to Smilax bona-nox, but had no thorns and bright red berries. Any ID help is appreciated. Could this be Carolina snailseed (Cocculus carolinus)?
