Description

Don’t know what this is, it’s like a flat bodied worm, or leech. It’s not a slug as it doesn’t exude slime when it’s touched and doesn’t leave a trail. It’s spotty and seems so flexible in its form that it probably doesn’t have a skelleton

Description

Adult Male Steatoda Capensis with Pom pom palps. Missing front right leg. Two distance vision eyes reflecting the flash. Whitish line and Dots in a line pattern across abdomen in a pattern which I have only seen on Capensis males. Definitely not Grossa, truncata or Lepida. Has slight off pink end shape close to spinneret. Also a red marking on underside of abdomen. See addition photos attached

Description

Attached to a fallen and crumbling branch, this fungus looked bright red almost orange. and had a stalk. Could not see any gills. Another had fallen off the branch when I picked it up. This in Gunns Bush track.

Description

eggs found among various washed up seaweed. At first I thought it was related to the Seaweed, perhaps seed pods. The community quickly identified these as egg cases of Zearaja Nasuta and thanks to Clinton for identifying other species found in the same washup. "The fifth image also contains three elephant fish (Callorhinchus milii) egg cases and one carpet shark (Cephaloscyllium isabellum) egg case." I am now creating other entries for these other egg cases.
