Description

From a riverbank spillover puddle full of diatoms and plant detritus. Shown mostly at 100x mag. Mating pair, I assume the one in front is the female. In image 2, the male appears to have 2 eyes but it's probably just debris. Image 5 is the female. Image 6 might show a spermatophore, or that could just be debris

Not sure, some type of heterotrophic euglenozoan. From a shallow freshwater pond viewed at 400x mag. Very common small cells. Jerky swimming with 1 (I think, possibly 2) flagellum at the anterior tapered end. No plastids.
