Description

Growing in soil shaded by exotic trees. Urban environment. Black cap 15-20cm diameter, wavy, irregular, -potentially due to growth conditions. Gills off white. Stipe is 7cm, pitted although could be due to insect damage -specimen is old.

Large clusters of small up to 15mm, light brown fruiting body. Growing on unknown tree stump (regrowth leaves in pictures). Stipe is lighter at top and gets darker toward base. Tearing of stipe causes dark red liquid pictures 4,5.
