Description

Wasn’t quick enough to get a good photo. Quite a large specimen. Maybe 1 - 1.5cm long. Seemed to hop rather tgan fly, but that was probably the wind.

Description

Between 15 - 20 kaka visited at dusk. We usually have half a dozen or so around. The adults were gathered on in the trees below and around the house - mostly juveniles on the deck. Very curious. Unnervingly comfortable around humans.
