I’m not very confident in my identification. Thinking perhaps this specimen is immature and will develop to include coloration or shape changes. The underside structure is fascinating. Help in identification greatly appreciated.

Found indoors laying eggs on a couch. Probably hitched a ride on plants we moved inside for the winter. Confident it’s a wheel or assassin bug, but not in the specific ID suggested by the app. Released the critter into our above freezing garage on plants brought in for the winter. Straight outside at 9 degrees F would have been a death sentence.
