I'm a botanist and retired museum curator. My research is based out of the Green Plant Herbarium of the Royal Ontario Museum and the Department of Ecology and Evolution at the University of Toronto. Most of this research has focused on the genus Crataegus, notably the black-fruited species of western North America.
